Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Anderson Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Connor Kent (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, David Hoff and Michael Johnstone.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kent gets caught napping as Jones dives in and scores a takedown. Kent manages to retain guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Jones looking to pass the guard.
Jones controls from within his opponent's guard.
Kent pushes Jones off and scrambles back to his feet.
Kent moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Jones moves into the clinch successfully.
Kent has had enough of the clinch but Jones keeps him there for the moment.
A frustrated look appears on Kent's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Kent can't break the clinch.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Jones prevents Kent from breaking the clinch.
Jones has clasped his hands together around Kent's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
Kent bucks up and tries to throw Jones off but instead Jones has got his back!
Kent is trying to get back to his feet but Jones has full control of the position and if anything, Kent has just worked his way into a worse spot.
Jones looking for the choke but no joy.
Jones is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish.
Jones's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Kent holding both Jones 's hands and preventing any damage.
Kent really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jones. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Jones really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Kent.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Jones's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Jones working for a choke but Kent is defending well.
Jones cracks Kent with a big shot to body and one to the head - really punishing Kent from the back mount here, looking to soften him up.
Kent is trying to get back to his feet but Jones has full control of the position and if anything, Kent has just worked his way into a worse spot.

Kent is trying to defend against the choke here but Jones has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Jones Tightens the hold and Kent taps out furiously! Jones displays superior BJJ to win the fight.
