The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cardenas scores with a three punch combo!
Xavier just misses with a punch to the body.

Xavier has managed to clinch.
Cardenas really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Xavier prevents a takedown attempt there.
Cardenas changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Xavier fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Xavier wants to clinch.
Cardenas lands with a slapping head kick.
Xavier tries to clinch but Cardenas moves out of range.
Xavier looks to land a combination but Cardenas avoids it well.

Cardenas has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Xavier avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Xavier fakes the body blow, causing Cardenas to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Cardenas goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
