The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fadda gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Von Trapp counters with a nice double leg into side control. Fadda won't be happy with that.
Von Trapp controls the position from side control.
Fadda is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Von Trapp's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Von Trapp will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Fadda has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Von Trapp is working away from the top position though.

Von Trapp wants to work for an arm triangle but Fadda is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Von Trapp passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Fadda!

Von Trapp fails to advance to Fadda's back.
Von Trapp has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Fadda's face.

It looks like Respect Fadda has been cut.

Von Trapp is trying to take his opponent's back.
Fadda should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Von Trapp postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Fadda looks a forlorn figure.

That has opened up Respect Fadda's cut even more.

Fadda tries to improve his position but Von Trapp has taken his back! Von Trapp has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Fadda tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Von Trapp pushes Fadda away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
