Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Metsa Aff (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bartosz Gajtkowski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Wagner Zegers and Paul Aken.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gajtkowski slips under a jab from Aff.
Gajtkowski connects with a good right hand that stumbles Aff. Aff circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Gajtkowski has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Aff is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Aff tries to close the distance and clinch but Gajtkowski swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Aff lands with a nice combination. Gajtkowski backs away looking to recover.
Gajtkowski fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Aff looks to score with a jab to the body but Gajtkowski is just out of range.

Gajtkowski shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Aff's guard.

I was talking to Aff's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Aff prevents a takedown attempt there.

Gajtkowski has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
