Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Derec Negreanu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Phillip Finnegan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Negreanu comes into the arena with Break on Through blaring out of the sound system. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Finnegan scores with a decent looking hook.
Finnegan uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Negreanu.
Negreanu closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Negreanu throws a hook but Finnegan blocks it.

It looks like Derec Negreanu has been cut.

Finnegan's coach down at Evil Empire: †AWAKENING† was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Finnegan's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
A thudding body kick lands there by Finnegan!
Negreanu is breathing heavily.
Finnegan throws an off balance right hand
and Negreanu counters with a one-two to the body.
Finnegan throws an overhand right that drops Negreanu like a sack of potatoes! Finnegan dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
