Robertson's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, When the lights go out. Laston has chosen The Nortorious Big feature Bone Thug N Harmony-Notorious Thugs as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Laston feints and as Robertson raises his hands in defense, Laston changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Robertson bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Laston's guard.
Laston wants to get back to his feet but Robertson is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Robertson wants to pass the guard but Laston is keeping the position.

Laston manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.

Laston works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
Robertson wants to sweep but no luck.

Robertson is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Laston has his hands clasped together but Robertson extends and breaks Laston's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Robertson.

A relieved looking Donovan Robertson thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
