Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mike Modano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Juan Pablo Out (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Modano shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Modano is looking to take a break and control but Out is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Modano is keen to just control but Out is a slippery customer.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

The ref stands the fighters back up. Mike Modano wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Out closes the distance and lands a one-two.
A punch lands to the side of Modano 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Out scores with a sloppy right hand. Modano should have avoided that one.
Out lands with an uppercut that bounces Modano off the cage and back into range.
Out misses with a few strikes there.

Modano throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Out tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Modano is in Out's guard.

Modano drops back looking for a leg! Out is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Out manages to kick Modano off! Modano jumps back into Out's guard.
Modano knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Out on the ground.

Modano seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Modano winds up and cracks Out with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Out is rocked!
Out is looking for a sweep. Modano is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Out is looking to get back to full guard here but Modano has managed to pass to side control instead.
Modano looks up at the clock and then as Out takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Modano smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Out is still in real trouble! Can Modano finish him?
