The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gargan tries a head kick but it misses.
Good exchange - Gargan coming out on top.

Capone tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Gargan swivels and escapes.
Nice takedown defense from Gargan. No joy for Capone on that attempt.
Gargan will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Capone changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Gargan looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Capone thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Capone is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Gargan has escaped the position, nice work there.

Capone looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Gargan tries to bench press Capone off him but Capone keeps the position.

Capone is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Gargan is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Capone is trying to get an arm triangle but Gargan is defending well.

Capone is working to tighten his grip on Gargan's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Gargan has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Capone is really squeezing tight and eventually Gargan passes out! Capone breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
