The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mason throws a right and a left that both miss.
Grot Myszkowski moves out of range of the body kick from Mason.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Mason, as that shot connected.
Grot Myszkowski takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Some wild striking there from Mason.

Grot Myszkowski closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Mason's guard.

Mason working for a triangle but Grot Myszkowski defends it easily.

Grot Myszkowski is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Mason is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Grot Myszkowski is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Mason throws a left and a right that both miss

and Grot Myszkowski counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Grot Myszkowski.
Mason jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Grot Myszkowski walks away with a smile on his face. Mason gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Mason throws an overhand right that lands on Grot Myszkowski's shoulder, as Grot Myszkowski tries to avoid the shot.
Mason avoids a punch combination nicely.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Grot Myszkowski cracks Mason with an elbow. That is naaassty.
Mason is looking to reverse the position.
Grot Myszkowski looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Mason gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!

Leon Grot Myszkowski decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
