Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Junior De Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Elijah Pitakaka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pitakaka has chosen my dick as his entrance music. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The judges for this bout are Josh West, Ryoma Takatsuka and Colin Fray.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

De Silva fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Pitakaka manages to avoid it.

Pitakaka feints and then cracks De Silva's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow De Silva down.

De Silva swings for the body but Pitakaka moves out of range.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

De Silva feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Pitakakas jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

De Silva chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Pitakaka can pounce on him.
Pitakaka lands a head kick. De Silva smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Pitakaka throws a nice inside leg kick.
De Silva throws a lazy right hand but Pitakaka sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

De Silva takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Pitakaka chopping away at his opponent's legs.
De Silva tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Pitakaka lands a big head kick that sends De Silva tumbling to the mat! Pitakaka takes a step backwards and waves De Silva back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

De Silva lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Pitakaka throws a head kick that De Silva semi-blocks.

Pitakaka breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

De Silva bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Pitakaka's head.

In his post fight interview, Elijah Pitakaka started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
