The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Patrick Alders and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lizowski tries to score a power double leg takedown but Oneal sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Lizowski somewhat.
Lizowski throws a poor cross that misses
and Oneal counters with a straight right hand.
Oneal really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Lizowski tries to clinch there but Oneal circles away.
Lizowski darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
It looks like Jesse Oneal has been cut.

Lizowski misses with a right hand
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Oneal closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Lizowski is looking to regain half guard here but Oneal keeps moving and retains side control.
Oneal will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Lizowski might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Oneal haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Oneal is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Lizowski drops back, looking for a kneebar! Oneal looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Oneal looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Oneal!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lizowski manages to work his way to half guard, despite Oneal's best efforts.

Oneal won't allow Lizowski to sweep him here.
Lizowski looking for a guillotine here but Oneal defends easily.
Lizowski pulls Oneal in close to his closed guard and prevents Oneal from doing any damage or advancing position.

Lizowski has his foot on Oneal's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Oneal works his way back into a safe position though.
Oneal won't allow Lizowski to sweep him here.
Lizowski has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Oneal doesn't defend quickly enough and Lizowski has managed to lock this one up! Can Oneal escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Lizowski on a fantastic submission victory.
