Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Josh Ferguson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and George Wahl (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Josh Ferguson has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Josh Ferguson seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

29 - 31 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Josh Ferguson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

9 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, George Wahl !
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Cecil Peabody and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ferguson rushes Wahl and presses him up against the cage.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Ferguson.
Wahl has Ferguson pressed against the cage, preventing Ferguson from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Wahl is trying to pull guard but Ferguson has him pressed against the cage.
Ferguson escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Ferguson closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Ferguson lands in his opponent's guard.
Wahl is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Ferguson dives into side control.

Ferguson is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Wahl can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Ferguson takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Ferguson wants to control the pace but Wahl is squirming around nicely.
Ferguson is really struggling to control Wahl but he's trying to hold on to the position.
Ferguson lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Wahl reaches up to try and control the position but Ferguson seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Wahl rolls and tries to escape and now Ferguson has his back!
Ferguson is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Wahl has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Ferguson here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.
