Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Luigi Marshall!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jeff Sitrin!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Frank Dennis and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sitrin rushes Marshall and presses him up against the cage.

Marshall really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Marshall breaks from the clinch.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Sitrin is defended easily by Marshall.
Marshall tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
No joy there for Sitrin, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Marshall tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Jeff Sitrin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Sitrin has closed the distance and engaged Marshall in a clinch.
Marshall tries to pull guard but Sitrin forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Marshall is defending well against a takedown attempt.

Sitrin's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Sitrin shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Marshall as he jumps to the side.

Sitrin drops down looking for an ankle pick but Marshall pulls his leg out and moves away.

Marshall has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Sitrin uses from the top position.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Marshall keeping moving, preventing Sitrin from controlling successfully.

Sitrin stands up and waves to Marshall to follow him.
Sitrin shoots in looking for a takedown. Marshall tries to sprawl out of it but Sitrin keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Marshall manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Sitrin goes for a double leg but Marshall avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Marshall continues to drive forward.
Sitrin has Marshall pressed against the cage, preventing Marshall from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Marshall is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Marshall fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Sitrin tightens his grip and picks Marshall up, before dumping him to the ground. Marshall manages to land in guard.
Sitrin engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Marshall looking to control but Sitrin passes into half guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Sitrin looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!



Marshall drives through and clinches with Sitrin against the cage.
Sitrin tries to pull guard but Marshall won't allow it.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sitrin prevents a body shot from Marshall.

Sitrin breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Marshall throws a body punch but Sitrin moves out of range.
Sitrin finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.

Sitrin feints and as Marshall raises his hands in defense, Sitrin changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Sitrin passes into half guard under a barage of strikes.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Sitrin postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Marshall to stand up.

Marshall shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Sitrin manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.
Marshall misses with some punches.
Sitrin displaying some good clinch control by pressing Marshall up against the cage.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Sitrin blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Marshall's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Sitrin is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Marshall.

Sitrin gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Marshall throws an elbow that misses.
Sitrin pushes Marshall back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.

Marshall throws a punch but it's blocked by Sitrin.

Sitrin manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

Marshall throws a big right hand that misses.

Sitrin is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Marshall kicks off Sitrin and gets to his feet.

Marshall gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Sitrin is in close to Marshall's body, working some short punches and elbows.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Sitrin wants to control from the top but Marshall keeps moving.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jeff Sitrin showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Marshall will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Sitrin is trying to control but can't.

Sitrin gets back to full guard.
Sitrin manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Marshall manages to get himself to full guard.
Marshall striking off his back but it's not causing Sitrin any problems.
Sitrin is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Sitrin sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Marshall's guard.
Marshall is looking to improve his position.

Sitrin stands up out of the half guard.
Sitrin shoots in for a double leg but Marshall sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Marshall drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Sitrin is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Marshall working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Marshall won't allow Sitrin to sweep him here.

Sitrin has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Marshall has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.
Marshall jumps guard but Sitrin turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Marshall unloads a knee to the mid-section.
Sitrin is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Marshall to keep the fight standing.
Luigi Marshall has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jeff Sitrin.

Sitrin manages to break the clinch.

Sitrin changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Marshall looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Jeff Sitrin comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Sitrin winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
