Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Xiao Long Li (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Keiji Hashimoto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Li comes to the cage accompanied by Dragon Punch!. The crowd seem to be enjoying Hashimoto's choice of entrance music: Holding Out For A Hero (Japanese Version). Keiji Hashimoto has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Xiao Long Li's chin.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 27 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Xiao Long Li!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 38 - 18 - 4, fighting out of Los Angeles, Keiji Hashimoto!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Jack Bonds.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Li misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Hashimoto.
Hashimoto misses with a kick to the body.
Li uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Hashimoto.
Hashimoto shoots in looking for a takedown but Li manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Hashimoto's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Li looks to land a body kick but Hashimoto moved away.
Hashimoto blocks a jab.
Nice body punch from Hashimoto.
Li swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Hashimoto misses with a looping left.
Li throws a half hearted mid kick.
Li throws a nice outside leg kick.
Both fighters circling a little - Hashimoto finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Hashimoto throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Li sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Li jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Li ducks under a wild hook from Hashimoto.

Hashimoto throws a head kick that lands with a deafening thwack! The crowd roars as Li stumbles backwards and falls to the mat. Hashimoto follows into mount!

It looks like Xiao Long Li has been cut.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Hashimoto working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Li keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Hashimoto postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Li looks a forlorn figure.

Li is rocked!

Li is in all sorts of trouble here.
Hashimoto pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Oh Li is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Hashimoto lands a big shot to the head and Li winces in pain. He's tapped out due to strikes!
