Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Stacey Atkinson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ricky Corre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Corre rushes Atkinson and presses him up against the cage.

Atkinson breaks the clinch.
Corre misses the body punch

and Atkinson counters by moving into the clinch.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Atkinson creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Corre has hold of one of Atkinson's legs. Atkinson is fighting the takedown attempt but Corre gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Corre would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Atkinson working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Corre.

Atkinson will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Atkinson is on top in guard.

Corre looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Atkinson passes into side control.

Atkinson tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Atkinson tries to stand but Corre is controlling his head.

Atkinson is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Corre has escaped the position, nice work there.

Atkinson tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Atkinson has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Corre is trying to escape and get back to his feet.

Corre is looking to control Atkinson's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Corre avoid being mounted?

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Atkinson has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Corre is proving hard to escape from.
Atkinson won't allow Corre to sweep him here.

Corre is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Atkinson rolls with it to try and escape but Corre cranks on the arm and Atkinson is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
