Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lukas Scott!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Nomzamo Plessis!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Patrick Alders and Radbod Blank.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Scott ducks under a wild hook from Plessis.
Plessis lands a head kick!
Plessis throws out a leg kick but Scott moves out of range and Plessis only half commits.
Plessis throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Scott.
Plessis loads up on a big right hand but Scott slips the punch.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Plessis moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Scott is trying hard to land a takedown here. Plessis sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Scott shoots for a double leg takedown but Plessis sprawls well. He's pushed Scott's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Scott is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Plessis is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Scott has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Plessis lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Scott has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Scott and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
