Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bon Aqua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Jonen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Richard Clark and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aqua gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Jonen should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Jonen throws a right hand that Aqua ducks under and follows up with a left that Aqua also avoids with ease.
Jon Jonen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Jonen tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Aqua manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Aqua lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

Jonen tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Aqua defends well and Jonen ends up having to push Aqua into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Jonen has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Aqua uses from the top position.
Jonen can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Aqua controls the pace.
Aqua wants to get up but he can't break Jonen's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

enabling Aqua to counter with a crisp jab.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
