Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Houston Warren (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jojo Sanchez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jojo Sanchez will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Houston Warren!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jojo Sanchez!
The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Topper Green and Ron Honeybunn.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Warren misses with a series of wild punches.
Sanchez tries to clinch there but Warren circles away.

Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Sanchez.

Sanchez lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Warren controlling the position well.
Warren tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
Warren is trying to control but can't.
Sanchez stalling away here and it's allowed Warren to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
Warren bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Sanchez's guard.

Warren's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Warren jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Sanchez walks away with a smile on his face. Warren gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Sanchez throws the left hand but Warren avoids the punch easily.

Sanchez has hold of Warren's hands but Warren slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Warren thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Sanchez's head.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
