Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kalani Kapena (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wiley Kilgore (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kilgore has chosen Road Runner as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kilgore stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Kilgore staying out of range there.
Kapena looks to land a left hand but Kilgore moved out of range nicely.
Kapena lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Kilgore walks into a stiff left hand from Kapena.
Kapena swats away the attempt to clinch by Kilgore.
Kapena keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Kilgore misses with a series of wild punches.
Kilgore ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Kilgore tries to clinch there but Kapena circles away.

Kapena fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kilgore manages to avoid it.
Kapena blocks a head kick by Kilgore.
Kapena scores with the left hand. Kilgore knows he should have avoided that one.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Kapena throws a hook to the side of Kilgore's head but Kilgore sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Kilgore uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Kapena.
Kapena blocks the body kick.
Kilgore tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Kapena manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Kilgore is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Kilgore walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Nice shot lands for Kapena.
Kapena cracks Kilgore with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Kilgore falls to his knees and Kapena doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
