The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lopez has a takedown stuffed.
Dudek tries to score a power double leg takedown but Lopez sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Dudek somewhat.
Dudek defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Lopez.
Lopez swats away the attempt to clinch by Dudek.
Dudek stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Dudek wants it to stay on the feet.
Kronlet Dudek has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Felipe Lopez.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Felipe Lopez hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Lopez dives in and grabs Dudek's left leg, looking for a takedown. Dudek pushes down on Lopez's head and hops out.

Lopez fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Dudek to the ground. Lopez is now in Dudek's guard.

Lopez got a little sloppy there for a moment and Dudek has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Lopez has managed to get both his arms back between Dudek's legs - danger averted.

Dudek is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
