Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Luke Scipio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alpo Suhonen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Suhonen has chosen Gers Pardoel - Ik Neem Je Mee as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Suhonen has Scipio up against the cage in a clinch.

Suhonen has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Scipio regains guard immediately.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Suhonen avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Suhonen slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Scipio is not content to let Suhonen control the position.
Suhonen might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Scipio haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Scipio is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Suhonen has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Scipio tries to buck Suhonen off but Suhonen is having none of it.

Suhonen wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Scipio, who protects the arm well.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Scipio is looking to regain half guard here but Suhonen keeps moving and retains side control.

Suhonen has an Americana. Scipio didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Suhonen is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Suhonen hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
