Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Yong Wright (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luke Sanders (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wright comes to the cage accompanied by Emancipator - Soon It Will Be Cold Enough To Build Fires. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wright tries to clinch but Sanders moves out of range.

Wright gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Wright misses with a hook to the ribs.
Sanders tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Wright avoids it.
Wright presses Sanders against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.

Sanders escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Wright misses with a takedown attempt - Sanders sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Sanders swats away the attempt to clinch by Wright.
Wright tries to close the distance and clinch but Sanders swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Sanders tries a head kick but it misses.

Sanders keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

Sanders feints a jab promting Wright to slip. Sanders then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Wright slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Luke Sanders is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Wright doesn't manage to clinch there - Sanders circles away.
Wright tries to close the distance and clinch up but Sanders swats him away and circles back towards the center.

A solid leg kick lands there for Sanders.
Wright tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Sanders paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Sanders uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Wright.

Wright looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Sanders is fending him off so far but Wright persists. Nope, Sanders circles away and we're back to standing.

Wright drives through and clinches with Sanders against the cage.
Sanders is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Sanders wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Sanders looks to throw an elbow but misses.
Wright goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

Wright misses with a hook to the ribs.

Sanders lands a nice elbow.
Wright swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Wright is looking for a takedown.

Wright is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Sanders is just riding it out for now. Wright eventually gives up the hold.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Sanders is looking to escape.

Wright throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Sanders's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Sanders is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.

Wright closes the distance and clinches.
Wright gets through Sanders's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Wright tries a body shot but Sanders blocks it.

Wright has Sanders pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Wright pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Sanders tumbling to the mat - Wright dives into Sanders's guard.
Wright is pushing down on Sanders's leg trying to pass to half guard. Sanders is fighting to maintain full guard but Wright has managed to sneak the leg through.
Wright frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Sanders really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Wright. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Wright tries to stand up but he's trapped just for the moment.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Wright is working for a guillotine from mount but Sanders frees his head quite easily.
Sanders is trying to get back to his feet but can't.

Wright is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Wright extends the arm and Sanders is forced to tap!
