The judges for this bout are Josh West, Ryoma Takatsuka and Colin Fray.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carmont shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Ko scores with a hook to the body. Carmont takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Good shot there by Ko.
Carmont shoots in but no luck this time.
Carmont shoots and misses
and Ko counters with a right hand to the body.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Logan Carmont. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Ko scores with a body shot.
Ko moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Ko lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Ko throws a series of strikes that have Carmont backpedaling.
A combination from Ko does no damage.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Carmont.
Ko bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!
Ko looks to land a combination. Carmont sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Ko cracks Carmont with a hook to the temple - Carmont is on wobbly legs here! Ko swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Carmont falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Ko wins by TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Ivan Ko!
