Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ellsworth Collins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrey Petrushka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Petrushka works over Collins's head and body with a nice combination.
Collins could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Collins dives in and grabs Petrushka's left leg, looking for a takedown. Petrushka pushes down on Collins's head and hops out.
Collins uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Petrushka.
Petrushka cracks Collins with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Collins closes the distance and clinches up with Petrushka, looking for a takedown. Collins pushes Petrushka against the cage but Petrushka circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Collins working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Petrushka pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Collins back to the cage. Petrushka follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Petrushka throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Collins's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Petrushka dives in looking to finish as Collins flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Petrushka's strikes! Petrushka is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Collins's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Collins was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.
