And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 9 - 0, fighting out of New York, Aaron Alverez!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, David Schapiro and Russell Pearce.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alverez takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Alverez looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Alverez drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Yakovitz scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Alverez.
Yakovitz connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Yakovitz clobbers Alverez with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
A decent looking cross lands there for Yakovitz.

Yakovitz fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Joseph Yakovitz is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Yakovitz uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Alverez has time to react.
Yakovitz keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Yakovitz lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.


Alverez is rocked!
Yakovitz bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Alverez's head.
Alverez is still on wobbly legs! Can Yakovitz finish him?
Alverez is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Yakovitz ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Yakovitz fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Alverez to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Alverez looks to clinch but Yakovitz throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Alverez taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
