The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gustavsson slips under a jab from Lupata.

Lupata closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Lupata tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Gustavsson is looking to regain half guard here but Lupata keeps moving and retains side control.
Gustavsson is working hard here to advance position.
Lupata lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Gustavsson tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Lupata is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Gustavsson has escaped the position, nice work there.

Lupata wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Gustavsson, who protects the arm well.

Lupata in side control here. He's dropped a big elbow there and Gustavsson looks hurt! Oh, he is hurt! Lupata turns on the heat and pounds him out for a TKO victory! Good killer instinct there!
