The crowd seem to be enjoying Vialpando's choice of entrance music: Kid Frost - La Raza. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Tiny Johnson and Daniel Franklin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vialpando lands with a cross.
Pettis has a takedown stuffed.

Pettis closes the distance and clinches up with Vialpando, looking for a takedown. Pettis pushes Vialpando against the cage but Vialpando circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Vialpando scores with the left hand. Pettis knows he should have avoided that one.

Pettis tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
A telegraphed right hand from Vialpando misses the target.
Pettis really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Vialpando feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Pettiss jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Pettis has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Oh Pettis is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Vialpando lands with a big right hook that stumbles Pettis - he's out on his feet here! Vialpando follows up with another monster hook that separates Pettis from consciousness! Pettis falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Vialpando stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.
