Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Marcus Freedman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Frazier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Marcus Freedman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Joe Frazier!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Saam Ante and Radbod Blank.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Frazier waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Freedman.
Freedman throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Frazier walks into a jab.


It looks like Joe Frazier has been cut.
Freedman swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Freedman drives through with a takedown into guard.
Frazier wants to stand up but Freedman is controlling him.
Frazier looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Frazier controls Freedman momentarily but Freedman frees himself.
Freedman trying to control the position from guard on top but Frazier is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Frazier wants to stand up but Freedman is controlling him.
Freedman wants to pass the guard but Frazier is keeping the position.
We've been hearing good reports from Freedman's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Freedman advances position into side control!

Freedman working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Freedman moves into full mount!

Freedman looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
Frazier tries to buck Freedman off but he can't manage it.
Freedman wants to control the pace but Frazier is squirming around nicely.

Freedman stands up from mount. Strange move.
Frazier looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Frazier pivots, looking for a leg kick but Freedman is out of range and Frazier settles back down.
Frazier misses with an uppercut.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Frazier!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Frazier swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Freedman dodges the punch combination from Frazier.
Frazier shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Freedman pinned against the ropes. Freedman gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Freedman tries to keep at a distance but Frazier has taken the fight into the clinch.
Frazier is trying to break the clinch but Freedman has him pressed against the ropes.

Frazier escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Frazier fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Freedman manages to avoid it.
Joe Frazier seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A big right from Freedman misses.
A looping hook to the body misses from Frazier. Freedman does a little dance to reset his feet.
Freedman ducks right into an uppercut from Frazier.
Frazier slips a straight right by Freedman.
Freedman pushing out the jab but it's not landing.

Freedman takes the fight into the clinch.
Freedman tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Frazier manages to break the clinch.
Frazier stuffs the takedown.
Freedman moves out of range as Frazier throws a body kick.
Frazier throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Freedman sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Freedman cracks Frazier with a right hand to the side of the head.
Frazier lands a nice shot that snaps Freedman's head back.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Freedman has a takedown stuffed.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Marcus Freedman. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Freedman tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Frazier paws at him with a jab and circles away.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Freedman tries for a takedown but Frazier sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Freedman takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Frazier throws out a loose jab but Freedman uses good head movement to avoid it.
Frazier works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Freedman lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Frazier moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.

Frazier instigates a clinch.

Frazier breaks the clinch.
A shot to the liver by Frazier. Beautiful body shot.
Freedman closes this distance looking for a takedown but Frazier circles away.
A punch lands to the side of Freedman 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Freedman scores with a jab to the head.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Frazier punishes Freedman's body with a nice straight punch.
Frazier swats away the attempt to clinch by Freedman.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Frazier. Freedman shrugs it off though.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Joe Frazier will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Joe Frazier's cut.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Freedman blocks a head kick by Frazier.
Freedman loads up on a big right hand but Frazier slips the punch.
Frazier moves out of range of the strikes.
Marcus Freedman is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Frazier cracks Freedman with a right hand to the side of the head.
Frazier throws a shot to the body.
Freedman will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Frazier throws out a leg kick but Freedman moves out of range and Frazier only half commits.
Frazier connects with a single shot there.
Frazier moves in looking to clinch but Freedman pushes him off.
Freedman moves forwards but Frazier connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Freedman checks a leg kick.
Frazier lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Freedman circles away quickly and effectively.
Frazier tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Freedman is able to avoid easily.

Frazier closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Frazier lands in his opponent's guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Freedman lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Frazier!

Freedman looking to secure an arm triangle but Frazier defends it well.
Freedman fails to take his opponent's back.

Freedman get's back to his feet.
Freedman looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Frazier is fending him off so far but Freedman persists. Nope, Frazier circles away and we're back to standing.
Joe Frazier seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Freedman uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Frazier.
Freedman rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Frazier counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Freedman throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Frazier rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Freedman moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Freedman tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Frazier defends well and Freedman ends up having to push Frazier into the ropes where they will battle it out in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Marcus Freedman. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Freedman has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Frazier avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Frazier breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Frazier lands with a straight right. Freedman didn't see that one coming.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
BOOM! Frazier lands a beautiful left hook that drops Freedman. Freedman tries to recover but Frazier is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Freedman lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:26 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Joe Frazier!
Jumping up and down and very excited, Joe Frazier waved his t-shirt featuring Fury Nutrition Inc.'s logo in front of the cameras.
