The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Van Persie ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
MacTavish looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
MacTavish tries to score with a low kick but Van Persie moves his leg out of the way.
Van Persie scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.

It looks like John MacTavish has been cut.
Van Persie ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with MacTavish's jaw. MacTavish's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Van Persie does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.

A relieved looking Robin Van Persie thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
