The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cabrera has his takedown stuffed
letting Aoki counter with a right hand.
Aoki lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.

Aoki fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Cabrera, pushing him back against the cage.
Aoki lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
Aoki stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.

Aoki's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Aoki lands a leg kick that knocks Cabrera off balance momentarily.
Aoki connects with a leg kick. Cabrera looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Chan Sung Aoki seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Aoki counters with a head kick. That will keep Cabrera thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

and Aoki counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Chan Sung Aoki has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gusserrano Cabrera.

Aoki pushes Cabrera up against the cage in a clinch.
Aoki works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.

Aoki pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Aoki lands a big right hand that sends Cabrera crashing to the mat! Aoki stays standing though and waves Cabrera back to his feet!

Cabrera is trying desperately to land a takedown but Aoki is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Cabrera.

Cabrera is still on wobbly legs! Can Aoki finish him?
Aoki cracks the inside of Cabrera's front leg.
Aoki throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Aoki connects with a jab, followed by a picture perfect straight right that sends Cabrera to the canvas, out cold! What a finish by Aoki!

A very excited looking Chan Sung Aoki rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
