Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gorky Rasmus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eugene Burns III (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Burns III's choice of entrance music: Off with his head- Big Pun. Eugene Burns III is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Burns III thows a body shot but no joy.
Rasmus closes the distance and lands a one-two.

It looks like Eugene Burns III has been cut.
Burns III misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Burns III shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Rasmus's guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Burns III won't allow Rasmus to sweep him here.
Rasmus knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Burns III on the ground.
Rasmus is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Burns III is controlling him.

Burns III is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Rasmus tries to strike from the bottom.
Burns III tries to free his leg and advance position but Rasmus is retaining full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Rasmus will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Burns III forces his way into half guard.

Burns III is trying to work for a kimura but Rasmus is defending well.
Rasmus makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Rasmus.
Rasmus on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Rasmus tries to get out of the position.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Rasmus wants to get back to his feet but Burns III is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Burns III stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Rasmus swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Rasmus is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Burns III goes for a takedown attempt but Rasmus pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Burns III shoots in for a double leg but Rasmus sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Gorky Rasmus has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Eugene Burns III.
Burns III looks gassed!

Burns III closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Rasmus to the mat! Rasmus manages to get full guard.
Burns III won't allow Rasmus to sweep him here.

Burns III drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Rasmus dives on top into guard.

Rasmus wants to control from the top but Burns III keeps moving.
Rasmus loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Rasmus controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Rasmus is posturing up here but Burns III has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Rasmus tries to roll out but it's too tight and Rasmus has to tap! Slick submission there by Burns III!
