Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jerry Best (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Christian Bender (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jerry Best!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Christian Bender!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bender feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Bender wants to pass the guard but Best is keeping the position.
Bender drops back looking for a leg! Best is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Best manages to kick Bender off! Bender jumps back into Best's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bender tries to free his leg and advance position but Best is retaining full guard.
Bender is looking to work some ground and pound but Best has wrist control.
Best has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Bender can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Best avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Best really is built like a bowling ball. I wonder if he'd roll if you pushed him down a hill...
Bender pushes down on Best's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Best really is a fat lump.
Best trying to control here but he's found himself mounted! Oh no!
Bender has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Bender can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Best is looking to escape.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Bender is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Best is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Best flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Bender anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Best and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Bender slips an arm under Best chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Bender has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Bender is squeezing on Best like an anaconda would it's prey. Best fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Christian Bender!
Christian Bender bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
