Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Buana shoots for a takedown but Nelson saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Buana.
Nelson lands with a kick to the temple. Buana shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Buan Buana seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Buana goes for a double leg but Nelson avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Nelson continues to drive forward.
Gunnar Nelson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Buan Buana.
Nelson's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

The crowd are getting pretty annoyed with Nelson for his constant stalling in the clinch and are voicing their displeasure.

Nelson has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Buana clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

I was talking to Nelson's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Nelson has Buana pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Nelson pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Buana tumbling to the mat - Nelson dives into Buana's guard.
