The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bonjasky avoids a punch combination nicely.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Gollum enables Bonjasky to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Gollum manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

and Gollum counters with a crisp one two that drops Bonjasky! Gollum thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Bonjasky to his feet! Bonjasky is in big trouble!

Remy Bonjasky seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gollum sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Bonjasky's defenses. It connects perfectly with Bonjasky's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!

Smeagol Gollum opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.
