The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Friedman throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Patterson was covering up waiting for the punch and Friedman finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Patterson looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Friedman wants to stand and escape but instead Patterson has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
