Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Polo Cambodia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Juan Velazquez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Velazquez is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Never Let It Die. Juan Velazquez will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Cecil Peabody and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jab by Velazquez.
It looks like Polo Cambodia has been cut.
Cambodia closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Polo Cambodia seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Velazquez lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Velazquez pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Velazquez will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Velazquez tries to sprawl but Cambodia drives through with a takedown into half guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Cambodia is thwarting Velazquez's attempts to control the position.
Velazquez moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Cambodia trying to control the position from guard on top but Velazquez is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Velazquez manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Cambodia manages to get himself to full guard.
Velazquez slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Velazquez is looking to stand up but Cambodia won't let him.
Velazquez throws a strike but Cambodia rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Velazquez is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Velazquez wants to stand and escape but Cambodia is having none of it.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Velazquez has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Cambodia off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Cambodia fails with a takedown attempt.
Velazquez listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Cambodia walks into a stiff left hand from Velazquez.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Velazquez lands a jab to the head.
Polo Cambodia's cut is getting worse.

Cambodia fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Cambodia misses with a combination
and Velazquez counters with a right, left combo that wobbles Cambodia badly! Velazquez follows up with a massive right hook, straight to the bridge of the nose that knocks Cambodia out cold! Oh wow, what a finish! Very reminiscent of Koscheck vs Yoshida as Velazquez finished him against the cage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:11 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Juan Velazquez!
