Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Irvin Traut (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Alkadis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, David Schapiro and Jorge Garcia.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Alkadis rushes Traut and presses him up against the cage.

Alkadis's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Traut throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Alkadis counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
A right-left combo lands from Alkadis.
Alkadis closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Alkadis lets loose with a powerful body kick. Traut will feel that in the morning.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Traut feints a jab promting Alkadis to slip. Traut then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Alkadis slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

It looks like Jason Alkadis has been cut.
Traut takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
A slow jab from Traut misses its intended target.
Traut misses with a double jab
and Alkadis counters with a solid body kick.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Traut steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Alkadis. That one must have hurt.
Sloppy strikes from Alkadis. Those never looked like landing.
Traut falls off balance throwing a combination
and Alkadis counters with a series of strikes. Traut will be more careful next time no doubt.
Traut throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Alkadis counters with a body kick that stops Traut in his tracks momentarily.
Traut is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Alkadis.
Alkadis fails to land with a series of punches.
Traut throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Traut misses with the combination.
Traut is breathing heavily.
Alkadis lands a nice looking kick to the body. Traut takes a step back to recover.

Alkadis scores with a kick to the midsection.

Alkadis throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Traut.
Irvin Traut seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Alkadis thows a body kick. Traut tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Alkadis explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Alkadis scores with a three punch combo!

Traut is rocked!

Alkadis rushes Traut and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Oh Traut is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Alkadis pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Alkadis lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Traut seems to have got his legs back now.
Alkadis lands a brutal head kick. Traut looks out on his feet and Alkadis throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
