Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Robert Parkhurst (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kasjan Kojder (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Robert Parkhurst!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kasjan Kojder!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Robert Douchet and Ian Loll.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kojder changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Parkhurst tries to avoid it but Kojder manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Parkhurst to the ground. Parkhurst escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
No luck for Kojder with that takedown attempt.
Parkhurst throws a series of punches but Kojder avoids them all with ease.

Kojder has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Parkhurst uses from the top position.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kojder's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Parkhurst will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Kojder enables Parkhurst to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Kojder manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Parkhurst has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Kojder is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

I would just about give that final round to Kasjan Kojder.
I've got Kojder winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
