Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Adam Giles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vlad Poorsky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Adam Giles!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Vlad Poorsky!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, James Ackerman and Chris Edwards.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Poorsky throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Giles shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Poorsky as he avoids it easily.
Poorsky loads up on a big right hand but Giles slips the punch.

Poorsky shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Giles is trying to defend but Poorsky finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Poorsky looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Giles knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Poorsky on the ground.
Giles manages to get to full guard.
Poorsky looking to sit in guard and control but Giles gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Poorsky is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

We're going to have a standup here because Adam Giles wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Poorsky throws a sloppy head kick and Giles moves out of range easily.

Poorsky moves into the clinch.
Giles is looking to control Poorsky's arms but Poorsky gets an underhook and turns him. Now Giles has his back to the cage.

Giles got a little sloppy there for a moment and Poorsky has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Giles has managed to get both his arms back between Poorsky's legs - danger averted.

Poorsky lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Giles!

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Giles is squirming around, avoiding Poorsky's attempts to control the action.

Poorsky wants to stand and escape but Giles is having none of it.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Vlad Poorsky hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Poorsky fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Giles to the ground. Poorsky is now in Giles's guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Poorsky tries a head kick but it misses.
Poorsky doesn't manage to clinch there - Giles circles away.

Poorsky closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Giles throws the kick towards the body but Poorsky avoids it.
Poorsky should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

It looks like Poorsky is going to stand back up.

Vlad Poorsky showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Giles drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Giles jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Giles accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Giles is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Poorsky.

Well Poorsky has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
