The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Daniels scoring well with a low kick there.
Daniels looks to clinch
enabling Berry to counter with a crisp jab.
Berry really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Daniels tries to clinch there but Berry circles away.
Daniels throws a sloppy head kick and Berry moves out of range easily.
Berry missing with a left hand there. Daniels was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Daniels connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Daniels fails in his attempt to clinch.
Berry throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Daniels rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Berry moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

and Berry makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Berry has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Daniels uses from the top position.

The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Berry wants to stand up but Daniels is controlling him.

Daniels has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Berry is proving hard to escape from.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Daniels is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.

Daniels decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Daniels is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Berry can't fight it off and eventually Daniels manages to take the fight to the floor. Berry looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Daniels wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Berry's closed guard. He's half up but Berry has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Berry pivots and extends the arm, Daniels falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Berry! Well done that man!
