The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Richardson tries for a takedown but Garner sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Richardson throws a leg kick
and Garner counters with a body kick that stops Richardson in his tracks momentarily.
Richardson tries to bum rush Garner with a series of wild strikes but Garner uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Richardson misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Garner.
Garner throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Richardson swats away the attempt to clinch by Garner.
Garner throws a sloppy head kick and Richardson moves out of range easily.

Garner lands a big head kick that sends Richardson tumbling to the mat! Garner takes a step backwards and waves Richardson back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Calvin Richardson has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Richardson wants to clinch
and Garner counters with a deadly accurate combination that rocks Richardson badly! He tries to strike back but Garner puts an end to that with another precision combo that knocks Richardson out cold! Oh man, Richardson will never hear the end of this one!
