Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jim Furyk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Max Heinonen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Furyk comes to the cage accompanied by Xzibit - X. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Heinonen fails in his attempt to clinch.
Furyk ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Heinonen moves away.
Heinonen gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Furyk scores with a jab to the body.
A jab lands there for Heinonen.

It looks like Jim Furyk has been cut.
Furyk has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Heinonen finds it's way round the side to connect with Furyk's head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Furyk circles away from the clinch attempt.

Furyk misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Heinonen counters with a nice uppercut.

Furyk moves into range and clinches up with Heinonen.
The referee is keeping an eye on Furyk - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Furyk cracks Heinonen with a nice body shot.
Furyk throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Furyk tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Heinonen misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Furyk misses with a hook to the ribs.

Furyk lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Heinonen.
Furyk definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Furyk has Heinonen pressed against the cage, preventing Heinonen from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Furyk stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.

Furyk breaks the clinch.
Furyk lunges at Heinonen with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Heinonen's hand.

Furyk closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Furyk.

Furyk's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Heinonen walks into a stiff left hand from Furyk.
Heinonen is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Furyk connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Heinonen throws a jab but it's blocked by Furyk.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Heinonen walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Furyk avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Heinonen takes a jab right on the kisser.
Furyk scores with a jab to the body.
Heinonen is looking to clinch but Furyk is avoiding it.
Heinonen slips under a jab.
Furyk fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Heinonen cracks Furyk with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Furyk lands a big head kick that sends Heinonen to the canvas! Furyk follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
