The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jacobs tries a head kick but it misses.
Jacobs throws a head kick that misses.
the Ripper tries for a takedown but Jacobs sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Jacobs throws a head kick but the Ripper moves out of range.
Jacobs blocks a head kick by the Ripper.

the Ripper fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Jacobs, pushing him back against the cage.
Jacobs tries to land a knee to the head but the Ripper blocks with his arms.
Jacobs lands a nice knee to the body.
Jacobs wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but the Ripper has him pressed against the cage.

the Ripper has clasped his hands together around Jacobs's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
Jacobs is looking to get back to his feet here but the Ripper is keeping cool and he's managed to take Jacobs's back.

Jacobs is squirming around looking to escape but he's just wriggling himself into more trouble. the Ripper sinks in the hooks and manages to tighten his grip on a rear naked choke. Jacobs has no choice but to tap and the Ripper jumps to his feet to celebrate and slick submission win!
