Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Yuri Volka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Danny Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Danny Brown!
The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Paulo Santos and Felipe Paraventi.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Volka lands with an overhand left.
Brown moves in looking to clinch but Volka pushes him off.
Brown tries to clinch up but Volka circles away and keeps his distance.
Brown feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Volkas jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Brown throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Brown tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Volka defends well and Brown ends up having to push Volka into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Brown blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Good body shot from Volka.
Brown goes for a takedown in the clinch but Volka prevents it.
Brown is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Volka's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Brown fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

Brown breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Brown shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Volka defends it nicely.
Yuri Volka has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Danny Brown.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Brown fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Volka avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Volka tries to clinch up but Brown circles away and keeps his distance.
Brown looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Brown gets tackled into the cage by Volka. Volka maintains the clinch.

Brown unloads a knee to the mid-section.
Volka lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Volka blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Brown stalls.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Volka creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Volka keeps control of Brown as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Volka lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Brown.
Brown misses with some punches.
Volka scores with a hook to the body.

Brown is rocked!
Volka creates some distance for himselfand unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Brown's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Brown drops to his knees and Volka pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
