Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tito MC (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ivan Smashaviche (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Tito MC!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ivan Smashaviche!
The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Illya Tyunina and Viktor Lagutenko.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Smashaviche looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for MC!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
MC taking shots to the head.
MC wants to control but Smashaviche is having none of it.
Smashaviche is landing with some decent strikes but MC is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
MC tries to hold on but Smashaviche pushes him away.
MC could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
MC swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing.
MC is desperately trying to improve his position but Smashaviche has a good base and remains in mount.
MC is trying to stand.

MC keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

MC strikes from the bottom but Smashaviche passes into mount!

Smashaviche takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
MC wants to hold on but Smashaviche pushes him away.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Smashaviche lands with some vicious ground and pound - can MC hang on?
Smashaviche landing shots from mount.
Smashaviche lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Smashaviche has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Smashaviche tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

MC tries to lock up and control but Smashaviche gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Smashaviche wants to control the pace but MC is squirming around nicely.
Smashaviche takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
MC is in a horrible position here. Smashaviche smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
MC takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ivan Smashaviche dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!


MC looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Smashaviche stuffs the takedown.

MC decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Smashaviche is controlling MC's position as best he can from this difficult position.
MC keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Smashaviche is looking for a sweep. MC is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Smashaviche is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
MC tries to pass to full mount but Smashaviche defends it.
It looks like MC is going to stand back up.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Smashaviche tries to roll over but MC keeps him under control.
MC wants to control but Smashaviche is keeping him busy.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Smashaviche tries to close the distance and clinch up but MC swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Smashaviche is looking to clinch but MC is avoiding it.
Smashaviche misses with the combination.

Smashaviche has managed to clinch.

MC manages to pull guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Smashaviche trying to control but MC is working from the bottom.

Smashaviche slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Sloppy strikes there by Smashaviche.
MC is trying to control Smashaviche's posture but Smashaviche avoids it.
MC is not content to let Smashaviche control the position.
MC tries to get back to half guard but can't.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Smashaviche moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Tito MC will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!


MC doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Smashaviche counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Smashaviche controlling the action here.
MC has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Smashaviche is working away from the top position though.
Smashaviche keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Smashaviche trying to control the action but MC is working from the bottom.
MC wants to control but Smashaviche is keeping busy.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Smashaviche is figuring out what he wants to do next.
MC is trying to stand up here but Smashaviche is controlling him well.
Smashaviche passes into side control, despite MC's attempt to control the position.
Smashaviche slows the pace down.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Despite being in the dominant position, Ivan Smashaviche just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Smashaviche closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Smashaviche lands in his opponent's guard.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

MC is in all sorts of trouble here.

Ivan Smashaviche comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Smashaviche has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
