Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hitesh Rafferty (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Francois Duvalier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rafferty comes into the arena with hayden calnin blaring out of the sound system. Duvalier has chosen Voodoo Music as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rafferty on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Duvalier misses with a straight right.
Rafferty tries to clinch
and Duvalier connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Duvalier lands with a shot to the body.
Duvalier has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Nice straight punches there by Duvalier. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Duvalier.
Rafferty slips a straight right by Duvalier.
Rafferty moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Duvalier uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Rafferty has time to react.
Rafferty fails with a takedown attempt.
Rafferty takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Rafferty takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Rafferty looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Duvalier checks a leg kick.
Duvalier scores with the left hand. Rafferty knows he should have avoided that one.

Rafferty tries to clinch up but Duvalier circles away and keeps his distance.
Duvalier uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Rafferty ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Rafferty moves out of range of the strikes.
Duvalier works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
A punch lands to the side of Rafferty 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Rafferty moves forwards but Duvalier connects with a nice, crisp jab.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Duvalier connects with a good right hand that stumbles Rafferty. Rafferty circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Duvalier lands a big uppercut and Rafferty crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Rafferty looks OK. Duvalier waves Rafferty back to his feet!
Rafferty is rocked!
Francois Duvalier seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Duvalier misses the jab.
Oh Rafferty is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Rafferty moves out of range as Duvalier strikes.
Duvalier fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Rafferty seems to have got his legs back now.
Nice jab there from Duvalier.

Duvalier scores with a shot to the body.
Rafferty moves away from the strike by Duvalier.

Rafferty drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Duvalier's corner calls for a 1-2. Duvalier obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Duvalier lands a slapping body shot.
Rafferty is breathing heavily.
A jab lands there for Duvalier.
Duvalier feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Rafferty sprawling to the canvas! Rafferty rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Duvalier finish him?!
Duvalier lands with a nice body punch.

Rafferty defending well as Duvalier loads up on a big left hand.
Duvalier connects with a good right hand that stumbles Rafferty. Rafferty circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Duvalier Throws a clean left jab. Duvalier Twirls his body and connects with a Spinning Back Fist that connects flush with Rafferty's chin! Rafferty crumbles to the ground and Duvalier follows up with some unanswered strikes. It's all over!! Nice standup skills displayed by Duvalier!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Francois Duvalier!
In his post fight interview, Francois Duvalier started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
Hitesh Rafferty was interviewed post fight and said 'The ref screwed me, i got poked in the eye, kicked in the nuts, a finger up my bum and the ref did nothing. I Demand a rematch'.
