The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pint looking to score a takedown here. Hill is defending well but Pint drives through and ends up in Hill's guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Pint trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Hill doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

Hill escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Pint gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Hill manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Hill can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Pint is looking to escape.
Hill is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Pint is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Hill looking for a guillotine from mount but Pint is having none of it.
Pint can't escape the position.
Hill sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Hill looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Pint is trying to escape the mount.
Pint wants to control but Hill is having none of it.
Hill takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Pint defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Hill.
Pint is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Hill wants to take his opponent's back but Pint doesn't allow it.
Pint really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hill. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Hill looking to control and managing it successfully.
Hill pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Hill trying to control but Pint is having none of it.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Hill is really struggling to control Pint but he's trying to hold on to the position.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Pint lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Pint wants to clinch.
Half Pint is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Pint is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Hill's half guard.
Pint is thwarting Hill's attempts to control the position.

Pint looking to sit in guard and control but Hill gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Hill forces his way into half guard.

Hill seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Pint is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
