The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Alves. No joy for Disgracie on that attempt.
Disgracie tries for a takedown but Alves sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Disgracie has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Alves.
Disgracie fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Luan Alves has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Royce Disgracie.
Disgracie dives in and grabs Alves's left leg, looking for a takedown. Alves pushes down on Disgracie's head and hops out.

Alves lands a two punch combo.

A slapping leg kick lands for Alves.
Disgracie dives in for a single leg takedown but Alves sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Alves pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Disgracie darts in looking for a takedown but Alves gets double underhooks and turns Disgracie into the cage.

Alves's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Disgracie looks for a takedown but Alves sprawls well.
Alves pushes Disgracie away with a front kick.
Alves lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.

Alves lands a big head kick that sends Disgracie tumbling to the mat! Alves takes a step backwards and waves Disgracie back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Disgracie is rocked!

The fighters circle, before Alves throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Disgracie's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Alves lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
