Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Luda Lopez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lorcan McAuley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lopez comes to the cage accompanied by Craziest - Naughty By Nature. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Hugh Johnson and John Mangel.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McAuley fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
McAuley fails to land the takedown.
McAuley throws a head kick that misses.
Lopez throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by McAuley.

It looks like Lorcan McAuley has been cut.
McAuley shoots for a takedown but Lopez saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Luda Lopez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lorcan McAuley.
McAuley clobbers Lopez with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Lopez is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. McAuley can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Lopez takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Lopez is looking for a kimura but McAuley is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Lopez to get the leverage.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Lopez is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. McAuley knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

McAuley changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Lopez looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

McAuley is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Lopez is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Lopez flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. McAuley anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Lopez and secures both hooks! This could be bad! McAuley slips an arm under Lopez chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. McAuley has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. McAuley is squeezing on Lopez like an anaconda would it's prey. Lopez fails to tap and has fallen unconscious!
