The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hart takes the fight into the clinch.
Hart pushes Bucktoo back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Hart throws an elbow but it misses.
Hart misses with a punch to the body.

The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Bret Hart.
Hart tries to clinch up but Bucktoo circles away and keeps his distance.

Hart fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Bucktoo is out of range.

and Bucktoo counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

and Bucktoo counters with a lovely shot to the body.

Hart has managed to clinch.
Hart with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Bucktoo wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Hart lands a nice knee to the body.

Hart unloads a knee to the mid-section. Bucktoo lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Bucktoo circles away from the clinch attempt
and Bucktoo counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Hart tries to score with a low kick but Bucktoo moves his leg out of the way.
Bucktoo looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Hart tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Bucktoo manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Hart is looking to clinch but Bucktoo is avoiding it.

Bucktoo distracts Hart with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Bucktoo postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Bucktoo cracks Hart with a solid left hand.
Hart wants to stand and escape but Bucktoo is having none of it.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Hart really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bucktoo. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Bucktoo lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Bucktoo seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Hart wants to control but Bucktoo is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Bucktoo is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Hart is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!

A relieved looking Tim Bucktoo thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
